John L. Kloosterman, age 67, of Allegan, passed away Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010, at Bronson Methodist Hospital. John was born Jan. 18, 1943, the son of Doune and Mildred Kloosterman. John loved fishing, basketball, and carpentry. Surviving are his wife, Pat, of 42 years; two children, Tod (Cassie) and Jori; a brother, D. Thomas (Nancy); a sister, Ada (Richard) Stoner. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will meet friends Wed., March 3, 2-4 and 6-8 at the GOBLES CHAPEL, D. L. Miller Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thurs. 11 AM at Merson Church, Pastor Gail Pike officiating. Interment will follow at Green Bauer Cemetery, Alamo Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan.
